Shore Of The Rhode River

The Rhode River is known as one of the beautiful anchorages along the Chesapeake. Most of the Northern shoreline is owned by the Smithsonian Institution which uses it for environmental research. It is largely 'unspoiled' by development. Anchoring is allowed along the shoreline, but going ashore is not permitted.
